General Conditions of Sale of Products
INTRODUCTION
The sale of products via www.happenings.be/catalog is being offered to you by REKAD NV, and the present General Conditions of Sale are those of REKAD NV.
ARTICLE 1 – PRICES
1.1. The prices of the products are given in Euros and include all taxes, except a part of the shipping costs.
1.2. All orders regardless of their nature are to be paid in Euros.
1.3. REKAD NV reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but the products shall be invoiced on the basis of tariffs in force at the moment of the order being recorded.
1.4. REKAD NV shall not be able to be held responsible for (typing) errors, which may occur in its quotations. See also Disclaimer.
1.5. The products shall remain the property of REKAD NV until their price shall have been paid in full.
ARTICLE 2 – PAYMENT
2.1. To order products via www.happenings.be/catalog it is only possible to use a Visa credit card.
2.2. Protection of payment
Our site uses a system of protection; we have adopted the SSL coding system in order to protect all sensitive data, which are linked to payment as efficiently as possible.
ARTICLE 3 – PERSONAL DATA
3.1. Your personal data are stored by REKAD NV and kept in your personal account in order to enable us to implement the transaction correctly. Once the said data have been stored, later transactions will be implemented more rapidly.
3.2. REKAD NV complies with Belgian law of 8 December 1992 relating to the processing of personal data, and amended by the law of 11 December 1998, which takes into account the European Guideline of 24 October 1995.
This law specifies that the person or company collecting data shall have obtained the consent of the person whose personal data are concerned, that the data shall be relevant and correct and that they shall have been collected for specific, clear and legal purposes. The person, whose personal data are concerned, shall have access thereto and shall be entitled to modify the information concerning his/her person. See also Privacy.
3.3. REKAD NV hereby undertakes not to pass any personal information to other organisations with non-commercial objectives or otherwise.
ARTICLE 4 – APPROVAL
You hereby declare that you have read the present General Conditions of Sale and approved them before placing your order. Placing an order accordingly implies acceptance of the said General Conditions of Sale.
Subject to proof to the contrary, the data recorded by REKAD NV shall provide proof of all the transactions between REKAD NV and its customers.
ARTICLE 5 – ORDER CONFIRMATION
Your order shall only be confirmed and binding on REKAD NV on the receipt of the e-mail confirming its validation. Please check your e-mail.
ARTICLE 6 – DELIVERY
6.1. Receipt for payment and the products shall be sent to the address, which you will mention when placing your order (dispatch or other address).
6.2. The delivery times given on the website are for indication only and shall not be binding. REKAD NV shall make every effort to observe the quoted delivery times. If the goods ordered shall not have been delivered within 30 days, the agreement shall be able to be regarded as annulled. In that case REKAD NV shall return any payment within 30 days. 6.3. Shipping costs
For the shipping of books/CD’s/DVD’s/software and small items, you will pay a sum dependent on the weight of your order.
The shipping costs of subscribed magazines are included in the price.
ARTICLE 7 – RIGHT TO RENOUNCE
7.1. The Belgian law on business practices, information and customer protection of 14 July 1991 allows the consumer to inform the vendor within 7 working days following receipt of the product that he is renouncing the purchase.
7.2. If the purchaser wishes to renounce the purchase, he shall be able to do so within the 7 days, which follow the delivery of the order. The goods shall then be returned in their original, undamaged packing together with all accessories, the instructions for use and (a copy of) the invoice/delivery note to:

7.3. Within 30 days following the acceptance of the return, REKAD NV shall return any sums paid except for the direct delivery costs.
7.4. The return of incomplete, damaged, used (by the consumer) of soiled goods shall not be accepted.

ARTICLE 9 – APPLICABLE LAW
The sale, to which the present Conditions of Sale apply, is governed by Belgian law. Without prejudice to the provisions of Section 624 § 1, 2° and 4° of the Judicial Code, only the Courts of Turnhout shall have jurisdiction.
